Why is it affected by Climate Change?

Climate change is having a massive effect on California's residents and Government. The temperature in California is projected to rise 9 degrees by the end of the century, which may not sound like a lot but when 9 degrees is the difference between 61 degrees and 70 degrees. This increase in temperature is going to cost California a lot. California citizens will be paying a cumulative $200 million on increased energy bills just to provide air conditioning. There will be $3 billion spent because of long droughts, $18 billion on replacing buildings because of rising sea levels.

AccuWeather estimates that California has spent $400 billion in 2018 due to the wildfires which is $315 billion more than they spent in 2017. All of the Impacts of Climate Change have depleted the West Coast's money greatly which adds up to an immense Economic Loss because of climate change.

How is it impacting the West Coast?

Climate Change related to Economic Losses has affected the West Coast in many ways. Climate Change related Economic Loss have affected the politics and the population on the West Coast because the Citizen and the Government are the one shaving to pay the extra money related to economic loss. Economic Loss has also affected the environmental aspect of the west coast because the losses mean more money must come into the region which means a higher surplus from the economy which drains the natural resources of the land. This is why Climate Change related Economic Losses in the West Coast has affected many things, not just the economy.
